Nicole Lehman

Licensed social worker (she/her)

I believe that your story matters, needs to be heard, and held with care to honor your past, present, and future selves.

My approach to therapy is relational, rooted in consent, and client-led. I walk alongside clients as they navigate how to integrate recent (or past) losses into their current lives knowing that grief and loss can be rooted in who we are or who we feel that we are. The same could be true for clients who have experienced trauma and hardship. I see therapy as a way to give a voice to what was once hidden or shameful. Imagine the relief that can come with that level of unburdening.

After I had my baby in 2021, I quickly learned the vast amount of support new parents need in the early years of parenting. This led me to seek out training related to maternal mental health and postpartum support. There are often many layers of grief and trauma in navigating parenthood. I like to think that I learn and grow from my clients as they allow me to witness their journey towards healing, awareness, and belonging.
