Allison Zimmermann

Licensed social worker

(she/her)

I believe in the transformative power of therapy.

Therapy is your space, and my goal is to do everything I can to ensure that you feel safe, understood, and cared for. My approach centers on fostering self-compassion and hope. During our sessions, I aim to work together to uncover the resilience and strength that you already have within you.

My therapy style incorporates creativity and humor. Whether through sketching, writing, or any other form of artistic expression, I believe creative tools can be a key to self-exploration. I also find that a good laugh during sessions can lighten the mood, provide fresh perspectives, and make tough conversations a bit easier.

Outside of sessions, you might find me cheering on the Bengals (even when they inevitably lose), working on a new ceramic vase, hiding from the cold weather with a good fantasy book, or blasting y2k music with my roommates.
